Manga fans should think these are just the bees knees. The Puma shoes 917 Mid is given a Japanese animation feel with its graphic reworking in homage of the celebrated genre of film. The 3D translation is rendered beautifully using dots for shading in concert with lines and a reflective toe cap. Pictures usually don’t do products justice and while this still holds true for Puma R-System 100 - White-Black-Earth this one its kinda cool to see the three dimensional object that mimics a two dimensional drawing reduced to a two dimensional photograph.
